As a design coach and educator, I offer workshops like these:
Intro to Human-centered Design (for non-profits and museums)
Going through a Stanford Design School-style exercise, we’ll explore how Human-centered design and design thinking can help you implement more effective programs, forge better relationships with community partners and funders, and see the best results from your work, no matter your role in the organization. Everyone in an organization can benefit from this workshop, from the board and ED to frontline staff and volunteers.
Design Research: Moving Past Interviews and Surveys
In this workshop, you will learn techniques to solicit qualitative information from customers or clients. Qualitative information can help you set a product or program’s direction, secure funding, and increase or retain users. Learn how to make qualitative research part of your design or evaluation process, and how to leverage the data to get your desired results.
